Stars & Stripes Honor Flight print ad

2-Story is proud to take part in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Partners for Humanity program each year. Local advertising agencies create an ad (pro-bono) for a nonprofit of their choice, and the half-page ads run in the Journal. Online voting from peers and supporters via social media helps earn extra donations.

Below is the ad we created for Wisconsin’s Stars and Stripes Honor Flight (SSHF)  – an incredible organization, doing incredible things for our veterans, based out of Port Washington. The creative team’s idea was to try to capture the amazing day SSHF provides through a photographic mural – which, when folded along the dotted lines, makes one helluva cool paper airplane. Launch it, and let your gratitude take flight.

Columbia St. Mary’s “Smart Smiles” Ad

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Partners for Humanity annual nonprofit advertising contest is underway!

This year, our team had the pleasure of working with the folks who run the Columbia St. Mary’s “Smart Smiles” program. This valuable community initiative provides free oral health care and education to Milwaukee kids right at their school – many of whom experience a dental chair for the very first time.

Vote now for your favorite ad – which, of course, will be the one below.  : )

Partners for Humanity is an annual program from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that utilizes the region’s top creative talent to create pro-bono ad campaigns for nonprofits organizations that would not normally have access to such resources.

Silver & Gold

Good things come in twos!

We’re happy to announce that we have just added to our list of achievements – taking home two accolades at the 2012 PromaxBDA Sports Media Marketing Awards in New York City on Tuesday. It was our second top honor this year – the first, back in February at the 2012 National Sports Forum (NSF) ADchievement Awards in Oklahoma City. Both competitions were for their work with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club. This time around, it was the Brewers 2012 television ads featuring MVPs, Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Braun that took home Gold (Best use of humor – “Glare”) and Silver (Best TV/Video Campaign). We credit the success of the campaign to a solid team effort. We worked closely with our friends at Metaphystico, Independent, and the Brewers Consumer Marketing and Baseball Departments to make it all happen.

The full campaign can be found here.

Woo-hoo!

We’re thrilled to announce that 2-Story’s commercials for the Milwaukee Brewers have been named finalists in the PromaxBDA Sports Media Marketing Awards!

Our campaign “MVP TV,” which features Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Braun along with other Brewers players, is up for the “Best TV/Video Campaign” and one of those spots, “Glare,” is up for the “Best Use of Humor” title. We’re up against some heavy-hitters from across the country – so wish us luck! Winners will be announced in NYC in November.

We’re finalists in the Teams, Leagues, Conferences and Collegiate category. You’ll find the Brewers spots listed on pages 1 & 2.
