Johnson Bank

Johnson Bank

One of the great things about the advertising business, especially at 2-Story, is the breadth and depth of what we do each day. From manufacturing to recreation, sports and entertainment, to tourism, finance, and more. PR and events, print and TV, radio and websites, etc, etc. We’re often too busy creating and doing to share the work (shame on us!) >> but today’s highlight is our latest integrated campaign for
Johnson Bank’s commercial banking.

Locally rooted and committed to creating thriving enterprise, Johnson Bank has built a strong connection to its customers and community. They have a great story to tell. Following below is how we’re helping them spread the word.

Fly MKE videos

Our latest labor of love are the following two online commercials (aka pre-roll web videos) for the Milwaukee Airport. Geared at Northern Illinois residents, we’re promoting all the great assets of MKE: easier drive, cheaper parking, major airlines — oh, and friendlier drivers who are way less likely to honk and run you off the road.*

*While we do love you, Chicago…driving to you and with you…a bit less fun. ; )

Players in the Community

Kristyn

Drum roll please

for our Lead Designer, Kristyn Lilley!

What do you never leave the house without?

Kristyn: My two left feet.

You’re from Michigan. What is one thing Michigan has that Wisconsin doesn’t?

Kristyn: Wolverines. Oh, and Bumpy Cake!

On the flip side, what are some of your favorite things about Milwaukee?

Kristyn: Well, there is a beer bar on pretty much every corner.

Now for the real flapper jack…

Hamburglar or Mayor McCheese?

Hm, Mayor McCheese.

Bumpy cake or cheese cake?

My loyalty is to Bumpy Cake.

Boom box or Pandora?

Boom box (with dual cassette decks).

Disco party or visor hat?

It’s always a party when I wear my visor.

Petunia or Lily? Or should we say Lilley?

Lilleypad would be just fine.

What was the most memorable or chaotic (or both) childhood memory you have?

Kristyn: Probably when I hooked my dad in the face learning how to cast a rod and reel.

Do coco crisps or frosted flakes inspire your design work?

Kristyn: I suppose they would if I were both designing and hungry.

Would you rather have a rattail or dog’s tail? And why?

Kristyn: I do have a dog’s tail – it’s attached to my dog. And I like her. So a dog’s tail, but attached to the dog of course.

If you could telepathically speak to any infamous deceased dictator, who would it be?

Kristyn: I don’t care to chat with despots. However telepathic tea and crumpets with the Iron Lady would be rather smashing.

What’s your story?
